The New York Series
From the Hudson to the Heights
The Curation
From the jagged rime ice of the Hudson Valley to the golden, arched sanctuaries of Manhattan, the New York Series is a study of contrast. As a resident of Orange County, I document the state’s dual identity: the raw, seasonal power of the northern wilderness and the precise, historic architecture of the city. These prints represent a transition from the chaotic energy of the storm to the intentional stillness of the final print.
The Regional Mission
Every piece in this series is captured on-site—often during the "blue hour" or in the quiet aftermath of a winter storm. Whether I am hiking the rugged trails of the Hudson Highlands or navigating the stone canyons of Lexington Avenue, my goal is to find the "sanctuary" in the scene. This collection is constantly evolving as I continue to explore the heights and hidden corners of the Empire State.
Fine Art Quality
Each New York study is hand-printed on professional-grade archival media, specifically selected to honor the subject’s texture:
-
Architectural Prints: Optimized for Gallery Smooth or Standard Satin to preserve the surgical precision of the lines.
-
Nature & Winter Prints: Optimized for Vibrant Metallic or Artisan Textured to bring the crystalline ice and Hudson Valley fog to life.
