The European Collection
Architecture & Atmosphere
The Curation
Drawing from four years of life and exploration abroad, the European Collection is a deep dive into the continent’s historic structure and seasonal light. From the iron precision of the Eiffel Tower to the misty, storied forests of Germany, these photographs focus on the enduring textures of the "Old World." Every piece is refined to highlight the interplay between centuries-old architecture and the atmospheric conditions that define the European landscape.
The Regional Mission
My mission with this series is to document the "soul" of place through its structures and silhouettes. Living in Europe allowed me to study how light interacts with stone, iron, and ancient timber over the changing seasons. Whether capturing a landmark in Paris or a quiet street in a German village, these prints are intended for those who appreciate the weight of history and the intentional design of the built environment.
Fine Art Quality
European subjects often demand a high level of tonal range to capture the nuances of stone and sky. Each print is produced to museum standards:
- Architectural & Cityscape Prints: Optimized for Standard Satin or Polar Matte to maintain the surgical precision of the lines and deep blacks of the shadows.
- Forest & Landscape Prints: Optimized for Artisan Textured (Palo Duro Etching) to add a tangible, watercolor-like depth to the misty European horizon.
